Waiting around and time out....

I need a time out.  I have a lot of things on the go and I just need to rest.
If I should or should not take breather is a different questions.   This whole, one week left has cause me to panic.  I just need to remember to take deep breathes and remember it's not the end of the world.
Hopefully when this is all over I can come out a more positive person.  At least, if it doesn't kill me.

So maybe I just need to take a breather, write a quick blog post and let my brain..... drain..
Watch a movie, go out, get a good nights sleep, basically do anything else.

Oh hello,

Trip to Vancouver for JLPT Test

Today's the big day!!!!  The day of the JLPT test~~ . And I'm really tired.
I jumped on the ferry on Saturday night a arrived pretty late at night.  Thankfully I was able to stay with an uncle of mine in Vancouver other wised I would have had to stay at a hotel.

6:20am -  I woke up really early yesterday and got some breakfast at McDonald's and heading off to Capilano University
6:45am - I fell on two girls on the Bus when the driver braked.... The bus drivers in Vancouver are insane!!!
Awkwardly enough... Those two girls were also taking JLPT 2 and were studying out of the same book I was.....

Crammed alittle more and took JLPT level 2..
Ugh.. I think I did fine on the listening.. but the Kanji was killer...
I really need to focus on Kanji this coming year.
Anywho,  after grabbing a cookie and water from the vending machine, I headed back and did level 3.....
It never really hit me till I sat down but... there is such a big different between JLPT 2 and 3....
I almost fell asleep...

Why did I take level 3?  Well I've never really taken any JLPT test before so I thought that if I was heading over the do level 2... might as well do the third level as well...
Little did I know it didn't end till almost 5:30..

After a long day.  I grabbed a quick bit to eat downtown ...
Oh man.. Such good noodles.... Specially after only eating a cookie for lunch....

----------------
I'm most likely going to have to retake JLPT 2 next year.  I was really hoping to have pass it by now, but it looks like I'm just going to have to hit the books again this year.
Just try again next year.
For those that are thinking about taking JLPT.  There is a new Pre 2 level for JLPT.  It seems that there as been a common problem for all students such as my self.  Level 3 being too easy and Level 2 being a little too much.  Looking forward to trying the new program next year...

JPLT 2級 ー Two Days to Go!

OMG! I can't remember anything!

I would normally be really depressed right about now, after today I realized that I have almost no chance in hell to pass this test. In my own rebuttal I have been pretty busy the last 3 months finishing my final project in computers

I'm spending all of today and tomorrow for some very well needed CRAMMING.
I did a good 4 hours today but I have realized that it might be a little pointless. For what it’s worth, I might as well take the test, get my mark and try again next year. Then I can compare the two. ……Hey! .. I’m trying to make the best of a bad situation…..

Well, I won't forgive my self if I fail it next year though. No excuses for next year.

Anyone else taking JLPT on Sunday?

Computer System Projects

Hello everyone,  sorry I haven't been this blog up to date.

My time at Camosun College is slowly coming to an end here.  It feels like just yesterday I started this whole mess.  Sitting in a lab night after night trying to finish the last few papers and projects before graduation.

So people that are still following me, I'll should give you an update.  I have been working on a number of things to keep me busy after school is finished.

1.  It seems more and more likely that I'll be transferring to a different university.
2.  It seems more then likely that I'll be going to Josai University in Chiba.

The BC government also been nice enough to allow me to keep borrowing my student loan for the next few years with out being taxed, one of the few great things about being a student.

Why am I going?

Well there are a number of reason I want finish my schooling in Japan.
  • First, It's cheaper.  No joke, I did the math.  It's not cheaper by much but still cheaper all the same
  • Second, the experience.  True, I have been to Japan before but really enjoyed going the first time.
  • Third, the food.  I really love Japanese food. ha ha ha.

Always, I'm going back to the books.  I have a project due next week....This whole thing will finish soon.

I'll hopefully have more time to blog then.

Oh yeah... I also need to study for the JPLT test this weekend.... I'm going to die.
