Sorry I haven't written anything for sometime, my last blog post I wrote was lost when my Blogging App crashed on me..
Last night I was invited to join some of the international student to a visit to Kamogawa Campus... With out know how far away it was and knowing what I was signing up for... Something about planting trees... It sounded fun though and I was told there was free food.
I jumped on the Train and got off at school at 8am and we started our 2:30 hour journey.
We arrived with a big welcome from the baseball team and started to head up to the planting site ... To find out the the trees were already planted and they just wanted use to help finish and clean up.
We even had a small group of Elementary Kids come help out
There was a few words said about the future of the school and the future of Kamogawa city. I later learned that many of the farmers around the area had lose crops and many people didn't want to buy food from around the local area cause of the chance of radiation.
Anyways, after that we had a quick lunch and enjoyed socializing with live music played by JIU's own student band
All in all it was a pretty good day... Rather hot...
