Time to Tighten the Belt

Hi everyone!!!

It's been a few days since I moved into my apartment and I've bought a bunch of stuff.

• Futon ( Thin Japanese Mattress )
• Food.... Haven't bought any rice yet... that's next on my list....
• Personal Hygiene Stuff ( Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste, etc)
• A whack of Daiso ( Dollar Store) stuff like ( Facecloth, Towels, Cutlery, etc)

After buying all this stuff.... I started to realizes...  I really don't have that much money....
I emptied my wallet and all my pocket's and I was left with this....

The money you see here is basically all the money I have...

I still have a couple of weeks till I received any student loan money..... Besides of all the costs of having to get this far, I also had to pay for a semesters worth of tuition....


So!  With this being know!  I have started an online donation!!  I accepted all major credit cards  ^__^

Hello everyone!

Sorry, I haven't had much access to the internet that pass week so I'm sorry for the last update.

I've fully moved in to my apartment ( Dormitory ) with the acceptation of not really having a place to pull my clothes...  I'll think of something...


My place comes with a bunch of appliances such as a Hotplate, Rice Cooker.... 

Microwave, Refrigerator and a Laundry Machine

Heres a pictures of my fridge fully loaded...... or at least, kind of loaded....

But the best part of the place is the view !!!

My place looks right out to a bunch of rice fields !!!   I'm so close to the rice, I feel like the farmer....

Back in Narita, heading to Togane

Hi everyone !
I'm back in Narita now and am starting to get ready for school.  Paying for my this and that and writting out forms.  I keep forgeting that i'm in Japan.  Although the trains in Japan maybe fast, paper work is not.  Everything must be written neatly and checked and checked again and again.  It took me more than 1 and  half hours to change my Canadian money to Japanese 円.
I need to pay my school fees by today.....
Ugh....  and the Japanese Yen is pretty strong today.....
I should have exchange my money in Victoria.   Oh well I think I lost about $80.00.  You can never really know if the rate will go up or down.

Gourmet Morioka ~~ !

Hi everyone!
I was able to get my hot hands on a memory card adapter and I've attached photos to my last post.

People in Morioka are great!  Very friendly and inviting.  With the addition of some great food and a few beers one couldn't ask for more.....
Although that I haven't really been losing any weight.

Back in Morioka ~

Hi everyone!

I'm back in Morioka and I'll be staying for the next few days, I don't have a phone or alot of access to a computer right now so sorry if I don't reply to your e-mails or facebook messages! PS I'm in a library and the computers don`t seem to wanna load Facebook.. :'(

I jumped on the bus yesterday and rode all the way to Morioka University and met up with a bunch of teachers and firends I haven't seem before. To say the least, everyone was pretty supriced to see me.

I took a few pictures but ... I don' really have a way to upload them. I will upload then when I have a chance.  

EDIT:  I've attached the photos ~!

Of course I also had to grab some Morioka University Curry.. Soo Good..  The cafeteria staff were also pretty surprised to see me!

I'm going to meet up with STEP 21, a group of young spirted people, whom helped me soo much with my last stay in Morioka. Mr.Murayama, my homestay father, and Ms.Yoshimi, in connecting with the Morioka Victoria Sister City Group, are also members.

I be walking around Morioka for the next few day. I will try and see as many people as I can.

I`m in Japan ～

Hello Everyone!

If you haven`t heard, I back in Japan.  If I didn't see you before I left Canada.. Sorry!!

And..... Those that met me at the Airport.... Thank you very much...  I almost cried

I`m not really one for preparation and normally do everything last minute.  I tried to see as many people as I could, but I barely has enough time for my own family...

Anyways, I staying at my friend place for the next few days before I head up North.
My friend and his wife has  FIVE KIDS!!   So the place is never boring.  Playing in the park and eating candies.   Oh, man.. I haven`t played tag in sooo long.... I was so tired after.

P.S. - I didn't come to Japan alone....

I wonder... does anyone know her??
